How LocalHero works
LocalHero makes it easy for people and organizations to unite and provide to those in need.
LocalHero works as an intermediary between people who want to donate their goods with donation spots organized by individuals or institutions. We want to make it accessible for everyone to donate goods based on their geolocation and what they want to donate by matching them with the nearest donation spot.
Though the idea for LocalHero came to our mind in light of a Ukrainian crisis, we want this platform to serve people in need regardless of the political situation in Europe. There are many conflict zones around the world, minorities living around us, and people and animals in need who can be our neighbors. We hope to reach as many of them as possible.
The team behind LocalHero works voluntarily and cannot take full responsibility for the currency of the entries on our website. All entries get validated once they enter the platform and we try to do our best to keep all entries updated.
